Financial donations allow us to fill gaps in our food supply.
Glasgow South West Foodbank is a part of the Trussell network but we are a small, independent, local charity in our own right. As such, we are responsible for our own fundraising and we would love you to help by donating to us.
Your donation will go to funding our work supporting those in food crisis in our local community. Sadly, the south west of Glasgow has some of the city’s most deprived areas. People are going hungry and living in poverty on our doorstep. Help us, to help them.
There are a range of ways you can donate to us;
Support our 2025 Christmas Appeal:
Winter is when people in Glasgow face the greatest pressure. Rising costs, higher bills and reduced income are driving more households into crisis, and we’re already seeing demand increase sharply as the cold weather sets in. We are supporting families who are facing hunger, debt, isolation and the choice between heating and eating. Many will turn to us for emergency food and support in the weeks ahead — but we cannot provide it without our community standing with us.
Your donations will help us provide emergency food parcels and practical advice and support through our Community Links Worker and Money Matters Worker for people who need us this Christmas.
£25 allows us to provide an emergency food parcel for someone in crisis this Christmas.
2025 Christmas Appeal Donations Doubled:
Thanks to a generous £1,000 match fund from The RSK Group and Structural Soils Ltd every gift made to our Christmas Appeal between December 1st and 7th will go twice as far.
This week, £25 for a food parcel becomes £50!
Any amount you can give will genuinely make a difference as all amounts are doubled, with £10 becoming £20, £20 becoming £40 etc
If you’re able to help, please donate today and unlock the match funding while it lasts. A few early donations will make all the difference to our appeal.
Regular giving:
You can chose to give to us on a regular basis, this gives us the certainty of a guaranteed income, allowing us to plan ahead. Some employers offer Payroll Giving or you can use our form to set up a Standing Order through your bank.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please consider allowing us to claim Gift Aid for any donation you make. By allowing us to claim Gift Aid we receive 25% of the value of your gift from HMRC meaning for every £1 you donate we receive an additional £0.25 at no extra cost to you! Just complete our Gift Aid Form and send it in to us.
One-off gifts:
You can donate to us here on the website, just click on one of the red ‘Donate’ buttons. You can choose your donation amount and donate safely and securely, by card or Google Pay.
We have a page on JustGiving where you can donate to us, or to anyone fundraising on our behalf.
You can also donate to us using Paypal.
If you’d prefer to donate off-line, you can send a cheque to us. Please make it payable to Glasgow South West Foodbank and send it to our office, the address of which is at the bottom of the page.
We can also accept bank transfers, please contact us for our bank details.
